Tamaron Country Club first opened for play in 1926.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,069 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,602 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 538 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 435-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, a 147 yard par-3.
The course was built on rolling terrain and has elevated greens and plenty of trees. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including #17, the 133-yard, par 3, that requires a tee shot over a stream that crosses in front of the well-bunkered green.

Drove by here this morning while I was on my way to Bedford Hills GC to check it out. It’s been abandoned since May 2018 and some land turned into apartments. Sad ending to a 95 year old course.
